Failure To Connect The Dots

This morning's Democrat & Chronicle contained a story about the nuclear non-proliferation summit being hosted by President Obama.

According to the story, one focus of the summit is to prevent the spread of nuclear materials to terrorists, who could smuggle same into the heart of a big city. The President is correct in wanting to keep nukes out of the hands of terrorists, but his actions belie his words.

The complete failure of this Administration to take serious steps to stop Iran from developing atomic weapons undercuts anything the President is doing to stop the spread of nukes. Does anyone doubt that Iran will provide nuclear material to Hamas or Hezbollah or Al-quida or the Taliban? Once Iran has nukes, terrorists will get the capability soon thereafter.

I believe that when the time arrives and Iran is on the verge of going nuclear that this may be the trigger to unite the big three nations, The USA, Russia and China like never before. We know that Russia is completely fed up with the terrorists in their back yard and with the possibility that Iran may feed them nuclear materials it will make Vladimir Putin turn red with anger. I would love to see the big three's armies join together, march into Iran and clean out those kooks once and for all. A good Iranian nutcase ayatollah, Khameini for one, is one meeting with his 72 virgins. If there are not enough virgins to go around maybe they can learn to share.
Also, in today's paper, was an article that I am sure you must have read. Can you please explain why Oklahoma's Tea Partiers want to form a militia??? Only trouble, with a capital "T", will be the result of this. If this is allowed to happen history may repeat itself. I would like to think that we have all learned lessons from the past.
